LOVEFiLM to premiere Catfish

As reported on NMA, Media Week and CNET, LOVEFiLM has partnered with Momentum Pictures to exclusively preview the documentary film 'Catfish' online and in 40 cinemas in the UK, ahead of its launch.

Catfish is a documentary following a New York photographer who strikes up a relationship with a Michigan painter. The film is described as a 'reality thriller', and comes with the shrewd tagline 'Don't let anyone tell you what it is'. There's been some debate about how 'real' it is, but the savvy Blair Witch Project-style marketing seems to be paying off.

We will also have an exclusive two-week rental window for the DVD of Catfish from 27 December, so you can only watch if a member of our service, which is another great reason for people to sign up.
